Sorry its been so long :(

We've been trying to update as much as possible, but with our crazy lives we haven't had much time to do anything.
We all got sick with the stomach flu just barely about 4 days ago. I was the first one to get it, and let me tell you I hate getting the flu. I'm just barely starting to feel better. Then my mom got the flu and she is sick in bed, Joe got it yesterday night , and has been feeling crappy all day. I don't know, will see how this one pans out.

Anyways on with the update!

Joe is still working at Walmart and enjoys doing what he does. He has been spending a lot of time with Raylee and I, and we love ever second of it. He actually has been Raylee's favorite for the last month, she has not wanted him to leave the room or even move away from her for more than a minute or else she screams and gets mad, I guess we know now that she is a daddy's girl! :) Joe is also excited for his first Christmas with Raylee and I, its finally feeling like our own little family is taking place, and its good to feel like we're becoming one. Now all I need to focus on is getting him the perfect gift.

I've been working, working, working, around the house like a normal homemaker does. Beside the little bump that has been in the road the last four days I've been trying to do my best to keep on track all though I find that I'm no use when I'm sick.

Joe and I had a date night on the night that I got sick which was tuesday, and we rented movies the day before so we watched them together. That is very rare for Joe and I to get time together, because the only time we have is when Raylee is asleep so we cherish those moments so much.

Raylee is still growing like a weed of course, and she is a very happy baby. She went into the doctors 2 weeks ago and had her shots, and that night she ran a fever of 101.6, thankfully I gave her some infants tylenol and her fever broke but that was the most horrible night for me. Other than that here was her stats;

Weight: 15lbs 1oz
Height:24 and a half inches
head:16inches around

she has grown since then, but what baby doesn't.
She also is learning how to roll from her tummy to her back, and she makes a really big effort to crawl, but she is not quite there yet she kind of does this inching thing, its cute. She's growing and thats a good thing, but we're sad to see her get bigger cause it reminds us of the day we had her and how it just seems like a hop, skip and, a jump to now. CRAZY! She's our little angel.

Well there is the Maguire clan update and I hope you all enjoyed it! We hope all is well with your families and that your having a safe and happy holidays. Will write again as soon as we can!

Love you all!

Happy Turkey Day!

First off we would like to say, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Well we're back from the trip to Kuna and lets just say that Joe and I never want to take a trip again! J/K
It was alot of work, but it was a lot of fun, and we at least got out of Idaho Falls for a couple of days so that was good for us.

Raylee got 3 shots 2 days ago and has been a grouch ever since, but she has had her happy moments where she just smiles and coos. She has also been taking to her dad more lately, I don't know what it is, but she is not happy until he gets home from work and can hold her, but I'm very happy that she is taking ot her dad, because Joe and I worried that she wouldn't, because of his night job. She loves him very much! She also is eating baby cereal now, and she is taking to it very well, and loves eatingfrom a spoon, but she is still trying to get the hang of it. Its just crazy how fast she is growing. We love her so much, we want her to stay our little girl for forever, but eventually she has to grow up, and we're excited to see her get bigger, and start crawlingaround it will be very exciting.

Joe has been our rock lately, going on vaction, taking Raylee to the pediatrician, and working, sometimes I wonder how he does it? He's our superman thats for sure.

we've had 2 crazy weeks full of packing and unpacking, wedding stuff for Aaron and Holly, cleaning for thanksgiving, and watching Raylee grow.
One thing is for sure it is good to be home!
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving, and that your holiday is a safe.
We love you all!

Busy, Busy, Bees

Well we've been really busy lately trying to get ready to go to Aaron and Holly's wedding. With a baby it seems to take 3 weeks just to make sure you will have everything you need, your husband needs, and your baby needs, but it will be well worth it in the end.

Keeping up with our crazy schedules has kept us running around in circles. Joe finally has the next two days off so hopefully the running will be brought to a hault......... Never mind too much to do our running is never done.

Raylee is growing like a weed and is as cute as a button, she knows what she wants and when she wants it. She is almost 4 months old now and will have to go in for her shots on the 20th of November. Joe and I hate when she has to get her shots. I usually cover my eyes when she gets them, and Joe holds her while she screams. I don't know there is just something about seeing Raylee in pain and crying that makes me cry, I guess its because she was in my stomach for 9 months and you never want to see someone hurt that you share that close of a bond with.
Raylee also has a cold again for the second time, it went away and she seemed to be doing fine, but 2 weeks later it came back, so now its humidifiers and vicks baby rub.
Parent hood is a crazy ride, but Joe and I wouldn't change it for the world we love our little girl, she means so much to us!
Joe is working very hard, at work and on the home front. He has been such a great husband and father, I couldn't ask for anyone better. I got sick this week and ended up in the hospital and sure enough Joe was there to take care of I and the baby, sometimes I wonder how he does it? I know its cause he loves me so much but I also know that taking care of two people is not an easy task, but he has truly been a blessing and I love him more than anything.
As mentioned before, yes...... I ended up in the hospital with a breathing problem, I couldn't breath and I still am having problems. The doctors still don't know if there is a bloodclot in my lung, or if its my asthma acting up either way it has not been fun for me or the rest of the fam. I'm being hard headed as usual and I'm not allowing people to help me much. I like to do things myself so its hard to let someone help me or bite the bullet and ask for help, but I appreciate the help I get. Other than that I've just been doing the same old things, taking care of Raylee, laundry, and house work.
Well I guess that wraps up for this weeks happenings.
Will write next week see yall later!

Better late than never

Well we just discovered Blogspot and I decided that the Maguire family needed to have a blog so we can keep you posted on whats going on in our lives. Let me get you updated, but before I do the above pictures are of Raylee when she was born and there is one picture of her at 2 months old so enjoy them. Now on with the update.

Joe and I got married on June 8, 2007 at the Parkwood ward church building. We were married by my bishop, Bishop Burger. We were very happy to be getting married after a year and four months of dating, and a 9 month engagment. It was a crazy year for us to get through, so we were happy to be getting married. It was a great day for us and we were happy to share it with all those who came.

Then came July it was hot, and I was just tired of being pregnant. We waited patiently every day and hoped that would be the day that our little baby girl would be born, but sure enough she made us wait tell 4 days before her due date to arrive. I went into labor on July 19th it was 12:20 in the afternoon, and my water broke, but I didn't know that it had. I went in to be checked around 3:30 and we found out the my water had broke, but I was nowhere near ready to have her, and that it was going to be 24 hours or more before I would deliver, but since my water had broke I had to go up to the hospital and be hooked up to monitors, lay in bed, and wait. We went through the night with no baby, and no progress I hadn't dialated very much, and by morning my doctor thought that I was going to have to have a C-section if I didn't dialate more. The lord was watching out for me because finally by 10:30 that morning I had dialated more, and I was ready for an epidural YAY! I had already been in labor for 22 hours and I was ready to just have some relief and get some well needed rest. Finally at 6:35 that night, after 30 hours of labor our baby girl decided to show herself. I had to have help getting her here she had to have a suction cup stuck to the top of her head that explaines why she looks like a cone head in her photos. Raylee Elizabeth Carolyn Maguire was born on July 20th. Here is how she measured up:

Name: Raylee Elizabeth Carolyn Maguire
Weight: 6lbs 15oz
Length: 21 inches
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue

She is a great baby and we love her. She is now 3 months old and is starting to show her personality more and more each day! She is a keeper !!

Joe is working at Walmart he has a night stocking position, and he is working really hard. Its a nice job for us, he gets to comehome sleep, and then spend time with I and Raylee, so he doesn't really miss out on Raylee's appointments or anything, just her sleeping. LOL!

I stay at home and take care of Raylee while Joe sleeps and help witht he house work, and laundry. Right now I'm doing some apartment hunting so Joe and I can find a place that we can call our own. Other than that I'm just hanging out andhelping where ever I'm needed.
Each day is a new adventure for us, and we love every second that we have together, we don't have as much time as we'd like to spend together, but when we do have time, we make it count.
Thats all for now, but I will try to update every week.
We love you all and hope all is well, and we'll write later!
